Roadtrip Nation

At the end of many years of school, graduation was looming and the three of us had no idea what to do next. We certainly knew what other people wanted us to do with our futures-go to law school or medical school, go into the family business, be a consultant-but we did not know what we truly wanted to do with our own lives. To help us figure that out, we hit the road in an old, broken-down, green RV to interview leaders from all walks of life and learn how they got where they are today. As much as our first roadtrip was about our own lives, today the Roadtrip Nation movement is about you- your interests, passions, dreams, questions, aspirations and future. To help you learn more about your own life, your roadtrip will give you a vehicle to step outside your own bubble and gain clarity and inspiration as to where your life could lead.

What exactly is a Virtual Enterprise?

A Virtual Enterprise is a simulated business that is set up and run by students to prepare them for working in a real business environment. With the guidance of a teacher (coordinator) and real-world business partners, the Virtual Enterprise students determine the nature of their business, its products and services, its management and structure. Emphasis is placed on using current business software, electronic communications, and the Internet for business transactions. The Virtual Enterprise simulation takes the teacher outside of the traditional instructional paradigm and remarkably places the students in the fast-paced environment of the modern business.
